Dr. Smith moved to Pilot Point in 2012 to pursue a job in the equine industry. After working in the equine industry for several years, she returned to school and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Vision Science and Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Smith graduated with distinction, and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa throughout her four years at Pacific University.
Dr. Smith received her optometric training at a veteran’s affairs hospital, a children’s vision development center and multiple primary care optometric practices. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages, and takes the time to personalize the eye health examination and treatment plan for each patient.
When Dr. Smith is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their three daughters and two dogs. She enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and cooking for family and friends.
Dr. Morgan Strub grew up in Wisconsin, and graduated from University of Wisconsin. She obtained her Doctorate in Therapeutic Optometry in 2014 from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Florida. “Dr. Morgan” as she goes by, has been practicing here in Texas since, and loves serving and living in the DFW area. In addition to her experience in full scope primary care family optometry, she has significant training and passion for fitting contact lenses and advanced management of dry eye diseases. Dr. Morgan is also an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and has vast experience in treating and detecting glaucoma, as well as other sight threatening conditions. In her free time, she enjoys travel, fashion, home improvement projects, and spending time with her husband and fur babies.
